• Stretch the rubber band over the ends of the straws that are sticking

up. Fit each side of the rubber band into the slits of those two straws.

• Stretch the rest of the rubber down and latch it onto the slit at the

other end of the first straw. The result should look like a suspension

bridge.

• Do the same with the rest of the straws. Adjust the rubber bands so

they are even

3. To make the tensegrity pop open:

• Cut away the small rubber bands
