• Take one of the strings and

slide it into the slot on the

left side of the middle legs.

Pull gently until the knot

rests up against the outside

of the straw

• Slide a bead onto the yarn.

Then pull the other end over

the right side of the front

legs. Insert the yarn into the

slot on that end of the straw.

Pull the yarn until it is tight.

(Are the legs still facing the

front? Good!) Tie a knot on

the other end of the yarn. Try

to get it close to the outside

of the front straw, but don’t

worry if it’s not exact. You

will tape it in place later
