So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

IF YOU RESPECT OTHER PEOPLE, THEY WILL TRUST YOU
I want to say a few words to those of us who will be head of an operation in a foreign country. I do this because I really want you to be successful in deploying the Toyota Production System, both in your own company and in your suppliers and partners in that country.
For those of you who are well traveled and think, “I know what it’s like in this country,” this chapter is especially for you. I think you will get a deeper understanding because of your experiences to date.
I can also say that I see more failures among those who have just enough experience to think that they are “experienced.” ...
