Before we begin learning about different types of risks, let us look at an example to get a glimpse into how risks can look in real time. A computer engineer and a member of the IT team in the world’s leading oil and gas company once opened an email and clicked a malicious link by mistake. The email looked authentic enough, and purportedly came from one of his colleagues, and the link that he clicked had an innocuous call to check a document that his colleague had shared.
