So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
ResourceManager (RM)
The ResourceManager is the entry point for applications in the YARN cluster. It is the master process in the cluster that is responsible for managing all the resources in the cluster. It is also responsible for the scheduling of various jobs submitted to the cluster. This scheduling policy is pluggable, and can be customized by a user in case they want to support new kinds of application.
