Adding a dataset

There is a handy method for adding data from your computer to the account. However, when adding shapefiles, all of the data files that make up the shapefile must be in a ZIP file. We'll add the NBA arenas shapefile from Chapter 11Flask and GeoAlchemy2, as a ZIP file to the account. Click on the NEW DATASET button in the DATASETS area of your dashboard:

Once the NEW DATASET button is pushed, and the CONNECT DATASET interface appears, click on BROWSE and navigate to the zipped file to upload it:
