SYNCING THE NONSYNCHRONOUS
On a truck shoot, or any shoot with cameras that use timecode, you don't have to worry about sync. They're rolling tapes on jam-synced decks or there's a generator for wild cameras and sync really isn't an issue.
But what about the rest of us? A lot of people shoot with inexpensive, nonsynchronous cameras. Oh come on! They're so cheap, anyone can buy two cameras to shoot multicam for about the same price as owning one camera last year.
