Virtual private server
The virtual private server (VPS) is a virtual machine provided by the hosting provider. This machine then runs its own operating system to which we often have a full super-user access. The VPS itself shares the same set of physical hardware resources as other VPS machines. This means that our VPS performance can easily be impaired by other VPS machines' processes.
