So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
VM running process names
The easiest way for a program to determine whether it is in a VM is by identifying known file names of running processes. Here's a list for each of the most popular pieces of VM software:
