This Deploying Policy Settings chapter is all about, well, deploying policies. There are more than 5,000 unique policy settings available to choose from within any GPO, so this chapter will obviously not be a comprehensive covering of all available policy settings. What we are going to do is implement a handful of helpful and common policy settings, some from the Computer Configuration Policies, and later some from the User Configuration Policies. By walking through these step-by-step instructions, you will be equipped to take the same procedures, combine them with a little search-engine browsing, and be able to configure anything you can dream up via Group Policy.
