Chapter 7. Working with Domino Documents

Notes/Domino is often referred to as a distributed document-centric database system. Sometimes, this description is used as a convenient means of defining what Notes is not—as in, it is not a relational or object database, without actually attempting to identify what its key characteristics really are, so it might be useful to do so quickly here.
