I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How it works...
Here is the explanation of the code:
The Quality variable in the Wine Quality dataset has Low, Med, and High values, with 63, 1319, and 217 counts respectively. We want to highlight which observations in the cluster belong to which quality rating. So, we extract these three unique values and assign three colors, red, green, and blue, to them so that the corresponding observations are colored accordingly:
- row_colors = wine_quality["Quality"].map(dict(zip(wine_quality["Quality"].unique(), "rbg"))) gets the indices of all observations and assigns the appropriate color code, corresponding to Low (green), Med (blue), and High (red) values.
- g = sns.clustermap(wine_quality.drop('Quality',axis=1), standard_scale=1, robust=True, row_colors=row_colors, ...
