I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How to do it...
The following are the steps involved in plotting our graph:
- Load the Iris dataset, which we have already used earlier, with the following commands:
iris = pd.read_csv('iris_dataset.csv', delimiter=',')iris['species'] = iris['species'].map({"setosa" : 0, "versicolor" : 1, "virginica" : 2})x, y = iris['sepal_length'], iris['sepal_width']
- Define the figure and the main axes as follows:
fig, axmain = plt.subplots(figsize=(8, 6))
- Plot a scatter graph on the main axes using an aspect ratio of 1:
axmain.scatter(x, y)axmain.set_aspect(1.)
- Define the axes divider so that we have one axis on top of the main axes, and another axis to the right of the main axes, as follows:
