So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Dieses Buch nennt den Ansatz Nanoservices. Die Abgrenzung von Microservices gegenüber Nanoservices steht im Mittelpunkt dieses Kapitels. Wesentliche Voraussetzung für das Umsetzen kleiner Services ist eine geeignete Technologie. Wenn die Technologie beispielsweise mehrere Services zu einem Betriebssystemprozess zusammenfasst, kann das den Ressourcenverbrauch pro Service und auch das Ausrollen der Services in Produktion vereinfachen.
