So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Defining generic interceptors
In addition to the business logic, each microservice needs to authenticate requests, validate incoming input parameters, map external data models to internal data models for business logic, and generate events for other microservices based on the action taken. All of these capabilities can also be implemented as a Pedestal interceptor for better flexibility and reduced maintenance overhead due to the separation of concern of each Pedestal interceptor.
