Chapter 2. Identity protection in Azure
According to the Verizon 20151 data breach investigation report, 95 percent of the incidents involved some sort of credential theft from customers’ devices. This number shows that it is imperative that any organization that wants to increase its level of security must have a good identity protection strategy in place. The same report shows that in August 2015, 1.2 billion credentials were compromised, which was linked to one of the biggest data breaches in 2015.
