6.9 Transport Agents
Transport agents operate under the control of the transport system to perform specific processing on messages at different points of their passage through the transport system. The most important agents are those that execute transport rules and perform journaling. We will get to discuss how to create and use transport rules and journaling when we review how to use Exchange 2007 to achieve better compliance with regulatory or legislative requirements in Chapter 8.
