When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Web Conferencing and A/V Conferencing Features
Lync Server made many improvements to web conferencing and A/V conferencing through both frontend and backend changes. Some of these improvements include
• Downloadable meeting client—Lync Server introduces the Microsoft Lync Attendee. This new downloadable client enables users who lack the full Microsoft Lync client to attend a meeting to which they have been invited. When the invitee first attempts to join the meeting, he is prompted to download the Microsoft Lync Attendee. This client enables the invitee to join the meeting, but it does not contain any functionality for IM, Presence, or Meeting Scheduling. The Attendee persists on the user’s computer so that he does not have to download it again ...
