So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Whiteboarding and Application Sharing
In previous versions of Communications Server, users in conferences only had the option of sharing their entire desktop. In Lync Server with Lync “14,” those options expand to application sharing, Office PowerPoint presentations, whiteboard and annotation tools, and meeting recording and playback.
Lync Server goes a step further with PowerPoint and utilized DHTML to present PowerPoint files to participants without requiring them to download a rich client. Participants can even view and save files that are uploaded to meetings in their original file format.
