Chapter 19. Managing IIS 6.0

In this chapter, you’ll look at managing Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS) 6.0 by using Microsoft Visual Basic Script (VBScript). IIS 6.0 is a significant improvement over previous versions in both security and manageability. The new Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) provider for IIS 6.0 offers the network administrator tremendous flexibility and can significantly reduce the number of hands required to handle configuration when managing the servers.
