So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Designing alert and remediation actions with System Center 2012 R2 Orchestrator (SCORCH)
Out of the box, SCOM provides many built-in tasks; these allow you to remediate some of the common alerts you may receive. Remediation on Health Service or general Windows Administration can be performed at the click of a button within the Operations Console giving the administrator a feeling of a single pane of glass. In addition to these types of remediation tasks, we also have other types of tasks that perform functions such as diagnostics or data capture, again presenting the results within the Operations Console.
