So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Explain the use and purpose of network services
DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) allows clients to automatically get IP addresses, instead of being statically configured.
DNS (Domain Name System) resolves FQDNs to IP addresses and much more.
NTP (Network Time Protocol) synchronizes clocks.
