So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
When does MobX react?
The MobX reactivity system starts with the tracking or observation of the observables. This is an important aspect of building the reactivity graph, so tracking the correct observables is key. By following a simple set of rules, you can guarantee the outcome of the tracking process and ensure your reactions fire correctly.
We will use the term tracking-function to mean any one of the following:
- The function passed into autorun(). The observables used in that function are tracked by MobX.
- The selector-function (first argument) of a reaction() or when(). The observables used in it are tracked.
- The render() method of an observer-React-component. The observables used during the execution of the render() method are tracked. ...
