Overview

This chapter introduces network and database access security for the MongoDB Atlas Cloud service. You will learn about MongoDB clients and how you can connect clients to cloud databases to run MongoDB commands. You will create and manage user authentication and authorization using Atlas Cloud security configuration and create a user account for MongoDB database. After you connect to MongoDB database, you will explore the Compass GUI client for MongoDB Server commands.
