Foreword
Being part of a transformation at any organization is really hard, and that’s certainly not for a lack of desire or ideas or ambition. Rather, transformations often stumble or fail because of the barriers that present themselves, many of them self-imposed. No one likes to talk about these obstacles or put them into a presentation deck. Instead, they get overlooked and glossed over. “We’ll deal with them eventually,” people say.
The problem is that change is not something most companies can afford to ignore. Digital transformation, generative AI, and agentic AI are just a few capabilities that are driving change in every organization I’m involved with. A recent UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD) report projects the global AI market to increase 25-fold from $183B in 2023 to $4.8T in 2033. This growth is also being met with growing concern. According to TechRadar, 98% of organizations intend to expand AI agents, yet 96% also see them as security risks. Global spending on digital transformation alone is expected to hit $3.9T by 2027, according to International Data Corporation. Yet despite this high price tag, around two in three digital transformation efforts end in failure, according to Boston Consulting Group. Why? Because the real blockers to success aren’t technical or external. They’re cultural, structural, and human woven into the fabric of your company.
That’s where Monster Transformation comes in.
