I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Finding Places on a Map
One of the most common uses for a map is to help you find a specific location, such as a friend's house or a restaurant where you plan to meet with others. Other times you may not know exactly where you want to go, but you do know what you want to find, such as the nearest pizza restaurant, gas station, supermarket, or coffeehouse. Whether you want to find a specific address or need to find a certain place, your iPad can show you the way.
Searching for an Address
If you know the exact address you want to find, you can locate it on your iPad by following these steps:
From the Home screen, tap Maps. The Maps screen appears.
Tap the Search tab in the upper-left corner of the screen. (It may already be selected.)
Tap the Search ...
