When I began my photography career in 2005, I started with a three-light studio setup, shot in raw and manual mode, and was photographing babies and children age 18 months to ten years old. I’ve always loved children and had a desire to build my career around that passion.
I mostly photographed girls, because all my children are girls, and there seemed to be an abundant supply of little girls around me. High key photography was typical with children’s commercial work, and this preference ultimately led me to work with white as my base color.
