I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

As I write this book, former Vice President Joe Biden has won the 2020 election and is preparing to take office in January 2021. A quote from him would be a good way to kick off the subject of this chapter: “Don’t tell me what you value, show me your budget, and I’ll tell you what you value.” We can learn a great deal about a person if we learn how they spend what they earn. We can learn even more if we also see people spending more, sometimes far more than they earn. The next and last chapter will deal with debt. Debt has become a four-letter word anchoring our economy and hindering future growth.
