With all the hype about ASP.NET and XML Web services, many people have completely neglected the fact that the .NET Framework is a full-featured development platform. The .NET Framework includes support for rich-user interfaces using Windows Forms. Most of the demos that you have built so far have been built using Windows Forms. The .NET Framework also includes tools for creating rich-user interface controls that are very similar in concept to ActiveX controls. These controls are called Windows Forms controls.
