Exadata Resource Management
One of the key features of the Exadata Cloud Service (ExaCS) is the ability to create multiple databases of different versions all on the same service or platform. Having mixed workloads on a single service does incorporate some challenges, however—in particular, deciding what database or workload gets what resources. Fortunately, the Exadata Cloud Service includes features that help with resource management, and using the included tools, you can decide which workloads get which resources across the entire service.
