So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Database configuration – initialization parameters
Our database configuration depends on the parameters defined in this initi.ora file. To quickly see what the parameters are and to determine the values set for these parameters, we can click on the Database Configuration node and then on the Initialization Parameters option, which readily starts showing us all the defined parameters for our database, as shown in the following screenshot:
A right-click on the Initialization Parameters gives us three more options for editing our recoverability settings for Instance recovery (desired recovery time), Media recovery (log archive file format), and Flash ...
