So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Automatic Database Diagnostic Monitor (ADDM)
ADDM uses the AWR snapshots for the comparison of database statistics between two intervals and comes up with a detailed advisory. ADDM also helps us to find the root cause for the observed performance issues with the rationale behind the issue. It provides recommendations for correcting the problem areas and identifies the non-problem areas of the database system.
