So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Information governance is not a new discipline; in fact, it has been an acknowledged practice going back to the 1980s. Every 2 to 3 years, there is a renewed interest in information governance due to a new technology or set of government regulations. It has evolved in the past 20 years from multiple areas of the business enterprise.
