I saw this gazania growing in my garden and I was particularly attracted by the elegant arc of the stem, combined with the perfect construction of the petals.

I snipped the flower with pruning shears, brought it into my studio, and placed it in a bud vase. Using a black velvet background, I made a simple photo emphasizing the classical shapes of this flower.
