It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Intermediate PIC18 Projects
Abstract
This chapter is about intermediate-level microcontroller projects using the popular PIC18F45K22 microcontroller. It is recommended that this chapter should be read after reading the basic projects in the previous chapter. The projects are designed using both the mikroC Pro for the PIC compiler and the MPLAB XC8 compiler. The projects in this chapter are based on complex seven-segment light emitting diode displays, hi/lo game, generating various waveforms in real-time, ultrasonic height measurement, minielectronic organ, reaction timer, microcontroller-based calculator, global positioning systems, and ON/OFF temperature control.
