INTERVIEWS: DO ORGANIZATIONS LEARN FROM PROJECTS?
4.1 Introduction
This chapter describes the results of some interviews with managers on the use of lessons learned from projects within their organizations. The interviews followed, and were informed by, the Zoomerang™ survey of how project managers learn lessons from projects, and whether they believe it to be successful. Six senior and project management personnel were interviewed, using semi-structured interviews in order to establish processes, seek views about these practices, and investigate any anecdotes that might indicate success or failure of the practices.
