It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

It gives me immense pleasure and satisfaction to present this textbook on Power System Operation and Control to cater to the needs of B.Tech. electrical engineering students.
The book has been written in a lucid manner for the benefit of beginner students. The basics are covered well and expounded with a view to assist the teachers in helping the student to assimilate the essence of the subject. Novel techniques have been adopted wherever required to drive home the complex aspects without compromising on standard and quality.
