The ATOM process presents a pragmatic perspective on project risk management that was produced by practitioners for practitioners. The emphasis is on what works, with a simple framework and practical guidelines on how to use proven tools and techniques.
This final chapter covers how to take the basic ATOM process out of the book and into practical application in the workplace. It answers the question “Okay, so I’ve read the book—now what shall I do?” A number of steps are recommended, as summarized in Figure E-1.
