It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

Working with the Property Pane
In the previous chapter, we went through the implementation of the “viewing products as a catalog” requirement by initializing the solution and creating our first SharePoint Framework (SPFx) web part.
In this chapter, we will cover how to work with the web part property pane and use Microsoft-provided controls and custom controls to make our solution configurable by users. By the end of this chapter, you will be able to do the following:
- Understand the basics of the web part property pane and how to use it
- Use and configure SPFx default property controls
- Create your own custom control to integrate with the property pane
- Get advanced tips and tricks to manage the property pane for more complex solutions
