When I went on the O’Reilly platform, I was astonished to find all the books there, plus live events and sandboxes so you could play around with the technology.I’ve been on the O’Reilly platform for more than eight years. I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
About the Author
Mary Jane Sterling is also the author of Algebra I For Dummies, Algebra II For Dummies, Math Word Problems For Dummies, Business Math For Dummies, Linear Algebra For Dummies, and Finite Math For Dummies. She taught junior high school and high school math for several years before beginning her 35 year tenure at Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois. Mary Jane especially appreciated being able to work with future teachers and trying out new technology. She and her husband, Ted, enjoy spending their leisure time with their children and grandchildren and finding new destinations for their travels.
Dedication
I’d like to dedicate Pre-Calculus Workbook For Dummies to my grandchildren: Elliott, Fiona, Wolf, and Blake. They each get copies of this workbook, although it’ll be just a few years before they’ll be able to or want to read it.
