In this chapter, you learned the fundamentals of styling and templating Silverlight controls. You also learned that styles shouldn't be randomly defined but designed with a view of how they fit into the overall look of your user interface. When styling an application, it is best to take a wholistic view of the process and actually design how the styles will be applied across the application, rather than taking a piecemeal approach. In Chapter 12, we'll look at actually building controls that can be styled and templated using this model.
