I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
About the Author
Dr. Deborah Rumsey is a Fellow of the American Statistical Association and is a Professor of Teaching Practice at The Ohio State University in the Department of Statistics. She has taught over 40,000 students in her career, and loves teaching. Dr. Rumsey has also written several For Dummies books, including Statistics For Dummies, Statistics II For Dummies, and Statistics Workbook For Dummies (Wiley). She has won two teaching awards and is proud of the letters she gets from people who have succeeded in their classes after reading her books.
Dr. Rumsey lives on a ranch in Urbana, Ohio, with her husband. They have Aberdeen Angus cattle, goats, and one chicken. She enjoys traveling, spending time with her 23-year-old son, fishing, and cheering the Ohio State Buckeyes on to their next National Championship.
