I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

This chapter provided an overview of the significant investment Microsoft has made in business intelligence in the newest version of Microsoft Office Excel 2007 and Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007. In this chapter, you have learned about SQL Server Analysis Services and how to tie its business intelligence features into Excel 2007 and SharePoint Server 2007. You've learned about Excel Services, a server component to the Excel 2007 desktop software, which provides a secure mechanism to share and reuse Excel workbooks. Finally, you've learned about the Report Center Site Template, SharePoint dashboards, and KPI Web Parts. These business intelligence features represent a significant part of Microsoft's push to provide businesses insight and better decision-making capabilities through software.
