So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Schematic Circuit
The circuit in Figure A.2 shows a PIC 16F877A with crystal clock, push-button input, and 8-bit bar graph display. The output increments when the button is “pressed” using the mouse pointer, and the effect can be seen on screen in real time.

The design of the circuit obviously requires knowledge of the relevant interfacing techniques to connect up peripheral components correctly.
