1.1 Installing Groovy
Getting a stable working copy of Groovy is really simple: just visit the Groovy home page at http://groovy.codehaus.org , and click the Download link. We can download either the binary release or the source release. Download the source release to build Groovy locally or to explore the source code. Otherwise, download the binary release. For Windows, we can also get the Windows Installer version. While we’re there, let’s also grab the documentation for Groovy.
