So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Chapter 4 – Build an NLP Pipeline for Building Chatbots
We dive deeper into computational linguistics in this project by exploring the deep learning techniques (building blocks) for language models. word2vec models like ours in Chapter 3, Word Representation Using word2vec, are made possible by NLP pipelines. Our task was to create a natural language pipeline that would power a chatbot for open-domain question-answering. We pictured our (hypothetical) restaurant chain as having a website with their menu, history, location, hours, and other information, and that they would like the added ability for a website visitor to ask a question in a query box, and for our deep-learning NLP chatbot to find the relevant information and present that back. ...
