The Laplace transform is an integral transform which greatly simplifies the solving of differential equations and the analysis of AC networks. In both cases, you only need to set up algebraic equations according to the computational rules of the Laplace transform or according to the theorems of network theory in the image. The solution in the image is an algebraic function consisting of a numerator and denominator polynomial.
