5.13 Project Task: Step Response of a Catenary Circuit
For the catenary circuit shown in Figure 5.12, which consists of three capacitors (as cross links) and two coils (as longitudinal links), we want to calculate the transmission function and the step response of the output voltage using the Laplace transform method, which means that the circuit is a fifth-order low-pass filter. For the internal resistance of the voltage source and the terminating resistor, R = 1Ω is specified in each case.
