It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.

To extract facial landmarks, the face_recognition library was used. This library performed this task by using the method that was introduced by Vahid Kazemi and Josephine Sullivan in the following paper: One Millisecond Face Alignment with an Ensemble of Regression Trees. To estimate the face's landmark positions, an ensemble of regression trees was used.
