I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
How it works...
The scatter plot helps us to understand whether there is a statistical association between two quantitative characters. If as one variable increases, the other tends to decrease, we have a discordant association. If as one variable increases, the other tends to increase, we have a concordant association. If one changes and the other tends to not change, we have no association. To analyze this trend, the disposition of markers is analyzed. If the markers are close to forming a straight line in any direction in the three-dimensional space of the graph, the correlation between the corresponding variables is high. If the markers are equally distributed in the graph, the correlation is low, or zero.
